Terms of Service

These Terms apply to Ghost Paws (the “Game”), provided by pungpungstudi (the “Developer”). By installing or using the Game, you agree to these Terms and the applicable app-store terms.

1. The Game and eligibility

The Game is a single-player action game provided for personal entertainment. You must be permitted to use it under the laws and app-store age requirements of your region. Minors must obtain guardian consent where required.

2. License

Subject to these Terms, the Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Game for personal, non-commercial purposes. Rights in the Game, code, graphics, audio, names, and other content belong to the Developer or their lawful owners.

3. Prohibited conduct

• unauthorized copying, sale, rental, redistribution, or commercial use;
• reverse engineering, modification, or unofficial derivative versions beyond what law permits;
• cheats, automation, save manipulation, exploits, or unofficial tools that interfere with gameplay, currency, or rewards;
• bypassing advertising, payment, save validation, or platform security, or creating false transactions; and
• using the Game or support channels for unlawful, harmful, or rights-infringing purposes.

4. Virtual currency and content

Fish Cookies, stickers, unlocks, upgrades, weapons, artifacts, cats, and other in-game items are virtual content usable only within the Game. They have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred outside the Game, and provide only a limited right of use rather than ownership.

The Developer may adjust rewards, prices, performance, unlock requirements, and content for gameplay, stability, or fairness.

5. Advertising and purchases

The Game may offer optional rewarded ads selected by the player in the Store. Completing one ad grants 20 Fish Cookies, up to three times per UTC day. Availability depends on network access, consent, region, and ad inventory. A reward may not be granted if the advertising provider cannot confirm completion.

Paid digital products are offered only through official Apple App Store or Google Play payment systems. Prices, billing, refunds, restoration, and payment processing follow the applicable store terms. Non-consumable cat purchases can be restored through the Game's restore function when supported by the store.

6. Save data

Progress is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling, clearing app data, changing or damaging a device, storage shortages, operating-system failures, or unofficial modifications may cause loss. Because the Game has no Developer-operated account or cloud save, remote recovery is not guaranteed.

7. Updates and service changes

The Developer may update the Game for bug fixes, security, compatibility, balance, or content. Changes to operating systems, store policies, or technology may alter features or device support, or lead to discontinuation.

8. Restrictions or termination

If you materially violate these Terms or law, or threaten the safety of the Game or platform, the Developer may restrict relevant functions or terminate this license. As the Game currently has no account system, restrictions mainly concern distribution, support, or future online features.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Game is provided “as is.” The Developer does not guarantee uninterrupted operation on every device, freedom from all errors, a specific result, or permanent availability of content. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

10. Third-party platforms

Apple App Store or Google Play terms also govern installation, updates, refunds, and platform features. Where mandatory platform terms conflict with these Terms, those terms may prevail for use of that platform.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea, without excluding mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence. Please first attempt to resolve disputes through the support channel.

12. Changes and contact

The Developer may revise these Terms when the Game or legal requirements change and will update the date on this page. Material changes may also be announced in the Game or store listing where required.
