Privacy Policy
Effective July 13, 2026 · Last updated July 16, 2026
pungpungstudi (“Developer”) provides this policy for
Ghost Paws (com.pungpungstudi.ghostpaws, the “Game”).
Summary: Progress is stored on your device. The Game uses Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for optional rewarded ads, Firebase Remote Config for update notices, and Firebase Crashlytics for stability diagnostics.
1. Scope and services
The Game stores progress locally on Android and iOS and offers optional rewarded ads in the store. It does not provide developer-operated accounts, cloud saves, multiplayer, chat, user-generated content, or Google Analytics. App stores, operating systems, Google services, and GitHub support pages are governed by their own policies.
2. Data that advertising services may process
When you request or watch a rewarded ad, Google and its advertising partners may process data according to your region, consent, device settings, and the ad served, including:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- device or account identifiers, including advertising or app-scoped identifiers;
- app launches, taps, ad impressions, video views, and other interactions;
- crash, launch-time, hang, energy-use, and other diagnostic or performance data; and
- advertising data, including ads shown to you.
This data may be used to deliver and measure advertising, analyze performance, maintain security, and prevent fraud. Google states that data is transmitted over encrypted connections. The Developer does not operate a separate server that receives this advertising data and does not directly sell personal information. See Google's Privacy Policy.
3. Update checks and crash diagnostics
Firebase Remote Config may process an app-scoped Firebase installation identifier and technical request information to provide update settings. Crashlytics may process crash reports, stack traces, app and OS versions, device model, process state, event time, and limited diagnostic keys added by the Developer.
The Game limits custom diagnostic keys to technical values such as app version, platform, and engine scope. It does not intentionally attach account details, local save data, advertising IDs, or precise location to crash reports. Firebase Google Analytics is not enabled.
4. Privacy choices and advertising
Where required, the Game asks UMP to refresh your consent status. When Google makes a privacy-options form available, you can reopen it from Settings or the Store under Ad Privacy Settings. You can also limit advertising identifiers in Android or iOS settings.
The Game currently does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission and does not intentionally access IDFA without that permission. The Developer will update this policy and the App Privacy disclosure before enabling IDFA-based tracking.
Watching ads is optional. Completing one rewarded ad grants 20 Fish Cookies, up to three times per UTC day. No reward is granted if the ad is closed before completion. The Game does not use banner, interstitial, app-open, forced-revive, or level-up reroll ads.
5. Data stored on your device
- virtual-currency balances, cumulative earnings, and rewarded-ad dates and counts;
- cats, weapons, artifacts, maps, stickers, unlocks, and permanent upgrades;
- high scores, run results, boss progress, and reward-use records;
- audio, auto-attack, accessibility, interface, and control settings;
- purchased product IDs, processed store transaction IDs, backups, and temporary save files; and
- local gameplay events used for balancing and troubleshooting.
This local game data is not transmitted to a Developer server. If your operating system backs up app data, Apple or Google's backup settings and policies apply.
6. Purchases, permissions, and deletion
Paid products are processed by Apple or Google through their official store systems. The Game does not receive your full payment-card details. Store purchase and refund policies apply.
The Game uses internet and network-state access for ads and store services. It does not request camera, microphone, contacts, or precise-location permission.
You can delete local data by clearing the Game's storage on Android or uninstalling the Game on iOS or Android. Because there is no user account or Developer-operated save server, the Developer has no remote game profile to retrieve or delete.
7. Children, security, retention, and changes
The Game is not designed to directly collect children's personal information. If children are included in the target audience, the Developer will adjust advertising settings and disclosures to meet applicable child-directed and Families requirements before release.
Google and app-store retention practices follow their policies. Local data remains until overwritten, cleared, or removed with the Game. This policy and store disclosures will be updated when SDKs, data practices, features, or legal requirements materially change.

9. Contact
For privacy or deletion questions, use the Ghost Paws support page. Do not post passwords, payment information, legal names, or contact details in a public issue.
