본 방침은 PungPung Studio(이하 “운영자”)가 Midnight Letter 모바일 앱, API, 음성 대화, 고객지원 및 정책 사이트를 제공하면서 개인정보를 처리하는 방법을 설명합니다. 현재 서비스는 만 18세 이상만 이용할 수 있습니다.

1. 현재 처리하는 정보

• 계정·기기: 무작위 사용자 ID, 설치 ID, 플랫폼, 앱 버전, 기본 언어, 성인 확인 및 정책 동의 버전·시각. Apple 또는 Google 계정을 선택적으로 연결하면 제공자가 전달하는 고유 식별자, 이메일과 로그인 제공자 정보를 처리합니다. 비밀번호는 수집하지 않습니다.
• 프로필: 사용자가 정한 이름, 자기소개, 관심사, 언어와 답변 길이 등 설정.
• AI 대화: 사용자 메시지, AI 답변, 캐릭터, 대화 분기, 생성·스트리밍·실패 상태와 요청 식별자.
• 기억과 관계: 사용자가 명시적으로 기억을 요청해 생성된 후보, 승인·거절 상태, 승인된 기억, 캐릭터별 관계 점수와 진행 상태.
• 음성: 마이크 오디오, 입력·출력 전사문, 음성 세션 상태, 사용 시간, 토큰량과 예상 비용. 실시간 오디오는 짧은 수명의 임시 키를 사용해 기기에서 OpenAI로 전송될 수 있으며 운영 서버에는 전사문과 사용량 기록이 저장될 수 있습니다. 앱은 카메라 영상을 촬영하거나 수집하지 않습니다.
• 안전·지원: 이용자가 신고한 메시지·카테고리, 처리 상태, 계정 삭제 감사 기록, 문의 이메일과 이용자가 제공한 자료.
• 결제·구독: 스토어, 상품 ID, 구매·갱신·환불 상태, 거래 식별자, 구독 만료 시각과 기능 이용권. 카드번호 등 결제수단 원문은 Apple·Google이 처리하며 운영자는 수집하지 않습니다.
• 기술 정보: IP 주소, 접속 시각, 요청 ID, 응답 시간, 오류 코드, 서버 보안 로그. 현재 광고 ID, 정확한 위치, 연락처, 사진첩, 타 앱 목록, 광고 분석 SDK는 사용하지 않습니다.

2. 이용 목적과 처리 근거

서비스 제공과 이용자 요청 이행을 위해 계정 유지, 대화 저장·동기화, AI 답변·음성 생성, 승인된 기억 반영, 관계 진행, 사용량 제한과 복구를 처리합니다. 동의가 필요한 정보는 동의를 근거로 처리하며, 서비스 보안·오남용 방지·오류 진단·신고 처리는 운영자와 이용자의 정당한 안전 이익을 위해 처리합니다. 법률상 의무가 있는 경우 해당 의무 이행을 위해 최소한의 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다.

3. 처리업체와 국외 이전

국외 이전을 원하지 않으면 AI 대화 또는 정책 사이트 이용을 중단하고 계정 삭제를 요청할 수 있습니다. 다만 Railway와 OpenAI 처리는 핵심 기능 제공에 필요하므로 거부 시 클라우드 대화·음성을 제공할 수 없습니다.

4. 보유 및 삭제

• 대화·승인 기억·관계·프로필: 이용자가 삭제하거나 계정을 삭제할 때까지
• 미승인 기억 후보: 생성 후 최대 7일
• 실패한 생성 기록과 운영 보안 로그: 원칙적으로 최대 30일
• 신고와 조치 기록: 원칙적으로 최대 180일. 분쟁·법적 의무가 있으면 필요한 기간까지 분리 보관
• 계정 삭제: 요청 즉시 삭제 절차를 시작하며 운영 DB에서 통상 즉시, 늦어도 7일 이내 삭제. 백업은 최대 35일 안에 순환 삭제
• 개인을 식별할 수 없도록 비식별화된 통계: 서비스 개선 목적으로 최대 180일

5. 제공·판매·광고

위 처리업체와 법률상 필요한 경우를 제외하고 개인정보를 판매하거나 금전적 대가로 제공하지 않습니다. 대화·감정·기억을 타사 맞춤 광고에 사용하거나 교차 서비스 추적에 이용하지 않습니다. 광고 SDK나 제3자 맞춤 광고 분석 SDK는 운영하지 않습니다.

6. 이용자의 권리

앱에서 대화와 기억을 삭제하고 설정에서 계정 전체 삭제를 요청할 수 있습니다. 이메일을 통해 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리정지, 동의 철회 또는 데이터 사본을 요청할 수 있습니다. 한국 이용자는 개인정보보호법, 캘리포니아 이용자는 적용되는 경우 CCPA/CPRA, 일본 이용자는 개인정보보호법(APPI)에 따른 권리를 행사할 수 있으며 권리 행사로 차별하지 않습니다. 계정 보호를 위해 사용자 ID·기기 등 합리적인 본인 확인을 요청할 수 있습니다.

7. 보호조치·아동·변경

HTTPS, 기기 보안 저장소, 짧은 수명의 음성 키, 토큰 회전, 사용자별 DB 행 수준 접근통제, 로그 비밀값 마스킹과 최소 권한을 적용합니다. 서비스는 18세 미만을 대상으로 하지 않으며 미성년자의 이용을 알게 되면 계정과 관련 정보를 삭제합니다. 중요한 변경은 시행 전에 앱 또는 본 페이지에서 알립니다.

Privacy Policy — English

This policy explains how PungPung Studio (“we”) processes personal information through the Midnight Letter mobile app, API, voice features, support, and policy website. The service is only for adults aged 18 or older.

1. Information currently processed

• Account and device: random user ID, installation ID, platform, app version, language, adult confirmation, and policy-consent version and time. If you optionally connect Apple or Google, we process the provider identifier, email, and provider name they return. We do not collect your password.
• Profile: name and description you choose, interests, language, reply-length, and app preferences.
• AI conversations: your messages, AI replies, character, branch, generation and streaming status, failures, and request identifiers.
• Memory and relationship: candidates created when you explicitly ask the character to remember something, approval or rejection state, approved memories, relationship score, and progress.
• Voice: microphone audio, user and AI transcripts, session status, duration, token usage, and estimated cost. Live audio may travel directly from your device to OpenAI using a short-lived key; transcripts and usage records may be stored on our server. The app does not capture or collect camera video.
• Safety and support: reported message and category, handling status, deletion audit record, support email, and information you submit.
• Purchases and subscriptions: store, product ID, purchase, renewal and refund state, transaction identifier, subscription expiry, and entitlements. Apple or Google processes full payment credentials; we do not collect card numbers.
• Technical data: IP address, access time, request ID, latency, error code, and security logs. We currently do not use advertising IDs, precise location, contacts, photo-library data, app inventory, or advertising analytics SDKs.

2. Purposes and legal bases

We process information to provide the service and fulfill your requests, including maintaining a guest account, storing and synchronizing conversations, generating AI text and voice, applying approved memories, maintaining progress, and enforcing and restoring usage. We rely on consent where required; legitimate interests in service security, abuse prevention, diagnostics, and report handling; and legal obligations where applicable.

3. Processors and international transfers

These U.S. processing operations are necessary for cloud conversation and voice features. You may stop using those features and delete your account, but we cannot provide them without Railway and OpenAI processing.

4. Retention and deletion

• Conversations, approved memories, relationships, and profiles: until you delete them or delete your account.
• Unapproved memory candidates: up to 7 days.
• Failed generation records and operational security logs: generally up to 30 days.
• Reports and enforcement records: generally up to 180 days, or longer only when required for a dispute or legal obligation.
• Account deletion begins immediately; operational data is normally removed immediately and no later than 7 days. Backup copies cycle out within up to 35 days.
• Statistics that can no longer identify you: up to 180 days for service improvement.

5. Disclosure, sales, and advertising

We do not sell personal information or disclose it for monetary consideration. We do not use conversations, emotions, or memories for third-party targeted advertising or cross-service tracking. We do not operate an advertising SDK or third-party targeted-advertising analytics SDK.

6. Your rights

You can delete conversations and memories in the app and delete the entire account in Settings. You may email us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, withdrawal of consent, or a copy of your data. California residents may exercise applicable CCPA/CPRA rights, including rights to know, delete, correct, limit certain sensitive-information uses, opt out of sale or sharing, and non-discrimination. Japanese users may exercise applicable APPI rights. We may reasonably verify your account through a user ID or device information.

7. Security, children, and changes

Safeguards include HTTPS, secure device storage, short-lived voice keys, token rotation, user-scoped database row-level security, secret redaction, and least-privilege access. No system is perfectly secure. Midnight Letter is not directed to anyone under 18; if we learn that a minor used the service, we will delete the account and associated information. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page before they take effect where required.

本ポリシーは、PungPung Studio（以下「当社」）がMidnight Letterのモバイルアプリ、API、音声機能、サポート、ポリシーサイトを通じて個人情報を取り扱う方法を説明します。本サービスは18歳以上のみ利用できます。

1. 現在取り扱う情報

• アカウント・端末: ランダムなユーザーID、インストールID、OS、アプリ版、言語、成人確認、ポリシー同意の版と日時。AppleまたはGoogleを任意で連携すると、提供者識別子、メール、提供者名を取り扱います。パスワードは収集しません。
• プロフィール: 利用者が設定した名前、自己紹介、関心、言語、返信の長さ、アプリ設定。
• AI会話: 入力、AI回答、キャラクター、会話ブランチ、生成・ストリーミング・失敗状態、リクエストID。
• メモリー・関係: 明示的に「覚えて」と依頼したときの候補、承認・拒否状態、承認済みメモリー、関係スコアと進行。
• 音声: マイク音声、利用者・AIの文字起こし、セッション状態、時間、トークン量、推定費用。音声は短期キーを使い端末からOpenAIへ直接送られる場合があり、文字起こしと利用量は当社サーバーに保存される場合があります。カメラ映像は撮影・収集しません。
• 安全・サポート: 通報したメッセージと分類、処理状態、削除監査記録、問い合わせメールと任意提供情報。
• 決済・購読: ストア、商品ID、購入・更新・返金状態、取引識別子、購読期限、利用権限。カード番号等の決済情報はAppleまたはGoogleが処理し、当社は収集しません。
• 技術情報: IPアドレス、アクセス時刻、リクエストID、応答時間、エラーコード、セキュリティログ。現在、広告ID、正確な位置、連絡先、写真、他アプリ一覧、広告分析SDKは使用しません。

2. 利用目的と根拠

ゲストアカウントの維持、会話の保存・同期、AIテキスト・音声生成、承認済みメモリーの反映、関係進行、利用量制御と復旧など、サービス提供と利用者の依頼実行のために処理します。必要な場合は同意、サービス安全・不正防止・障害調査・通報対応に関する正当な利益、または法的義務を根拠とします。

3. 委託先・国外移転

• Railway Corporation（米国・カリフォルニア）: アカウント、プロフィール、会話、メモリー、関係、文字起こし、利用量、通報、技術ログをAPI・PostgreSQLでホスティング。サービス利用時に暗号化通信で随時移転。
• OpenAI, L.L.C.（米国）: 現在の入力、必要な会話文脈、キャラクター・ペルソナ、承認済みメモリー、音声・文字起こし要求をAI回答・音声生成・安全運用のため処理。API入出力は既定でモデル学習に使用されず、不正利用監視ログは原則最大30日保存される場合があります。
• RevenueCat, Inc.（米国）: アプリユーザーID、ストア取引、商品、購読状態を購入確認、利用権限付与、購入復元のため処理。
• Apple Inc.またはGoogle LLC: 任意のソーシャルログイン識別子・メールとストア決済・購読を、選択した提供者の方針に従って処理。
• GitHub, Inc.（米国）: 公開ポリシー・サポートページ訪問時のIP、ブラウザ、アクセスログをホスティング目的で処理。アプリ会話はGitHubへ送信しません。

国外処理を希望しない場合はAI機能の利用を中止し、アカウントを削除できます。ただしRailwayとOpenAIの処理なしではクラウド会話・音声を提供できません。

4. 保存・削除

• 会話、承認済みメモリー、関係、プロフィール: 利用者が削除するかアカウントを削除するまで
• 未承認メモリー候補: 最大7日
• 失敗した生成記録・運用セキュリティログ: 原則最大30日
• 通報・措置記録: 原則最大180日。紛争・法的義務に必要な場合のみ延長
• アカウント削除: 直ちに開始し、運用DBから通常即時、遅くとも7日以内。バックアップは最大35日以内に循環削除
• 個人を識別できない統計: 改善目的で最大180日

5. 提供・販売・広告

上記委託先および法令上必要な場合を除き、個人情報を販売しません。会話、感情、メモリーを第三者のターゲティング広告やサービス横断追跡に使用しません。広告SDKや第三者ターゲティング広告分析SDKは使用しません。

6. 利用者の権利

アプリで会話・メモリー・アカウントを削除できます。メールにより開示、訂正、削除、利用停止、同意撤回、データ写しを請求できます。個人情報保護法（APPI）その他適用法に基づく権利を尊重し、権利行使を理由に不利益を与えません。保護のためユーザーID・端末情報による合理的な本人確認を行う場合があります。

7. 安全管理・未成年・変更

HTTPS、端末の安全な保存領域、短期音声キー、トークン更新、ユーザー単位のDB行レベル制御、秘密情報のログ除外、最小権限を使用します。本サービスは18歳未満を対象とせず、未成年の利用が判明した場合はアカウントと関連情報を削除します。重要な変更は必要に応じて施行前にアプリまたは本ページで通知します。
